Who we are
RUOGate ("we", "ruogate"). This policy covers ruogate.com only. Stores we build for clients have their own policies, published by the client.
What we collect
- What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, where you are with your store today, and your message.
- If you book a call, the details you give Cal.com, the scheduling service we use, under its own policy. The booking calendar loads from Cal.com on the home page when you click "Book a call".
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request, kept for security.
We do not use advertising trackers, and the public pages of this site set no cookies of their own.
The client platform
If you apply for a build or become a client, the pages you use on ruogate.com (the application, your statement of work, your kickoff page, your invoices and your account) keep what you give us there:
- Your application: your contact and business details and what you tell us about your store, your catalog and your processor, with a one-way hash of your IP address that we use to limit spam.
- The agreements you sign: the statement of work and any release approval, with the name, title and email you typed, the time you signed, a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser type, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact text, so either of us can show later what was signed.
- Files you upload to your kickoff page, such as your logo and your lab documents. Account keys you enter there are locked with a key that only our build machine holds.
- Your invoices and whether each one is paid.
- The email address you sign in with, and a record of each email we send you.
We send those emails through Resend, an email delivery service, under its own policy. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; it holds your email address and nothing else. We never collect or store card numbers: you pay each invoice by the method printed on it, and we mark it paid by hand.
How we use it
To reply to you, to prepare for a call, and to scope and deliver a store if you become a client. We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it only with the service providers that deliver email and scheduling for us, or when the law requires.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages for up to 24 months after our last exchange, or until you ask us to delete them. Client records for as long as needed to honor the warranty and our legal obligations.
Your choices
Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, using the contact form above. We will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
